Honouring Farai
Farai always said fondly, ‘There is too much to be done, and there is no time for hesitation’. If you are like Farai, caring about the development of Africa and believing that enabling talented women can change the continent, then there is no time for hesitation.
Francie Shonhiwa
Mother of Farai Shonhiwa, acclaimed business woman and social entrepreneur
Farai Shonhiwa was a phenomenal woman. An accomplished mother, physician, board advisor, and executive. She connected with others via her larger-than-life personality, caring nature, and brilliance. She benefitted from multiple degrees and blazed her path through an extraordinary career where she impacted companies, inspired co-workers, and touched lives. She loved large earrings, a great glass of wine, and meaningful experiences with friends and loved ones. She was passionate about Africa and about unleashing the potential in African women.
